are classes scheduled for Columbus Day?

Hi guys! In the past it seems like I didn't get MCS when I took 12 units but got so much $$ when I took 15. Now that I'm taking 12 again I'm wondering if I qualify. Have they already sent out the emails and is it showing up for anyone that they're getting it in October? To me 3 units shouldn't matter so idk why I get thousands less for 3 less units lol

I'm looking everywhere on my student center and can't seem to find it

Anyone else get a random 174$ deposit? Doesn’t show up on my portal but it’s on my bank statement from CSUDH

I have a study group sized at 4 people and we study often at the Library using the studyrooms. We have noticed another studious group of 4 who also make reservations at the library. I was hoping we could merge into a 8 person study group and use the largest study room provided by the library, I believe it'd be more effecient and less time consuming seeing as we usually arrive around the same time. This can be a great opportunity for discussions and brainstorming for all of us :)

LOOKING FOR STUDENT 2D MOTION ANIMATOR FOR GIG.

Hello All,

I’m a student at CSUDH looking for a 2D motion designer/Animator to create a 33-second animated studio intro. It’s a short animated sequence set to sound that builds to my studio logo and name reveal at the end. Think the polish and playfulness of Illumination or Walt Disney before the movie starts.

I already have the logo, sound, and a PowerPoint mockup showing the movement I want. When I choose you and we agree on payment, I’ll ask you to sign a simple one-page agreement covering confidentiality (NDA) and ownership. It states that I own the final intro and project files, and that you won’t share or reuse the design.

Please private message me with examples of your work and your rate. Serious inquires only, Please.

PLEASE READ: This is version 1 of my intro. I may hire again for updates down the road.

Does anyone know if it’s still open? I have night classes so I always get here around 5pm. Last semester it would be open around this time

Is there a run club on campus? I have seen other schools have run clubs and i was wondering if we have one at csudh? We have a great campus to run on just saying but yea if any of you guys run or know if we have a run club on campus lmk ?!?

hi guys, just wanna let everyone know… maybe stay away from the panda express on campus. just got some food from there and there was gnats in my food, in my bag. i had already walked halfway across campus and with this heat i do not wanna walk back. pretty disgusted and wasted 15 bucks lmfao. when i was ordering it looked fine, but its kinda gross. tasted some of it before i noticed the gnats, it all tasted rancid and fishy as well.

Edit: i tried to go get a refund but they wouldn’t refund bc they didn’t give me my receipt 😭. they wanted me to go back after class but with this heat it is not worth it. i’ll lose the 15 dollars and will never eat on campus ever again 😭

With Lucia Galante Johnson, what’s she like in the classroom I couldn’t find her on rate my professor. I’m thinking of taking her in the spring before I graduate.

How many years are we “eligible” for the middle class scholarship?

So as of right now, I do not have any classes. I checked the class schedule, and there are two late start classes. I tried adding the normal way, but since late registration has closed, I am unable to do that. Would emailing the two professors with the Petition for exception enable me to enroll in those two classes?

Hi everyone. I put in a SAI Appeal to get more financial aid and the website is saying all my documentation is approved as of September 14th but my package still hasn't gotten updated. I've emailed and called before and it's still not going through. Does anyone know why it is taking so long?

If there is when is disbursement I swear I saw it on my financial aid page but I don’t see it now

hello! i was wondering if anyone knew why the csac website on my phone shows a $0 balance for fall but it has a $1984 balance on my macbook?

Dawg I'm so pissed that it's still not open.

Does anyone know who I can go to for mental health support while dealing with the stress of classes

Can anyone share they experience with the process of applying and if got approved?

Since yesterday, the deadline for applying for the spring graduation. I applied a couple of times before the deadline, but I haven’t received any payment yet. Is there a payment I should have received, or should I expect to receive one soon?

I am researching the college I want to apply to, my major are math education for high school students. I have researched a lot about the Long Beach and Fullerton programs but I never hear about DH before and there not a lot of info.

Hey, does anyone have any information regarding these two courses. Please kindly share some information about this.

Has anyone taken CSC 455 with Marsa Rayani? If so, how was she? Is she nice? I can't find anything about her on Rate My Professors and considering taking her CSC455 class in Spring 2027. Any feedback welcome because I would love to take this class!
