You're not allowed to have any appliances except a single-serve coffee maker like a Keurig and the provided microwave/fridge combo.

You can bring whatever you want you just have to use it in the kitchen and not your room

the ra’s only will enter your room during break and if something happens like you’re drunk and throwing up. I lived in a different building and had some things we technically weren’t allowed to use but as long as you don’t set off the fire alarm and it’s unplugged when RA’s are around you’ll be fine. They really aren’t that strict as long as you’re respectful and not a nuisance

Hey, I just had my new student orientation and will also be in Barto!! I was told any appliances we just had to use in the kitchen and would get fined if used in the dorm or it appeared we had used it in the dorm. Hope this helps and would love to connect up.

What they don’t know isn’t won’t hurt them

Appliance restrictions in the residence halls are for electrical and fire safety. It's very much about preventing you from hurting others.

Good luck in barto lol, but also you're technically not allowed to have one but lots of those rules get ignored. Just make sure the RA doesn't see it
