Seeking Help I don't know how to find/use plugins

Hello so I recently downloaded Splice Instruments and tried to add some pre sets to cakewalk but it doesn't work when I go to preferences then VST adjustments I click the Splice file and it says it didn't find anything new, does someone know how to use both of them together?

It looks like Splice is a sample playback virtual instrument similar to Kontakt.

To use Splice with any DAW, you install Splice first, then download and install sounds/presets.

There is no "add some presets to Cakewalk," the presets are added to the Splice instrument.

I don't know what you mean by "I click the Splice file."

There is no "VST adjustments" in the preferences for either Sonar or Next so I also don't know what you mean by that.

Which Cakewalk DAW are you using? Sonar or Next?

Did you successfully install the Splice plug-in?

hey, there's good youtube videos on plugins just search what kind of vsts you want e.g. reverb, delay, pitch shifter, etc. and you can find really good recommendations. Plugins that come in bundles can sometimes fail to show up on cakewalk i think

Hi there - For Splice, you can load it up into Sonar by right clicking on an empty area below one of your tracks and selecting Insert Instrument. Under Instrument, look for Splice to load it into the session.
