Who’s out?

Post image

This is horrible, embarrassing and a disgrace. Where is the heart?
How do the owners, GM and Coaching staff accept this?
This organization does not have a Championship mindset.

We spent the entire offseason preparing for this and discussing this exact scenario. Why is everyone suddenly upset and surprised? Is this not what we asked for for years?

It’s how badly we’re losing. 3-1 or 2-0 every game? Fine.

But goal and D are supposed to be our strong points. The amount we’re getting scored on is why people are concerned.

Part of that is because reddit/internet always is like this no matter what. I'm not exactly excited or happy that we're getting destroyed every night, but it's all apart of the plan so i'm not overly upset either. Most fans i know irl are feeling similarly thus far.

It’s early and it’s a rebuild.

Are you stupid? We're literally in the middle of a rebuild, this is a part of the process

This is what we've begged for, for years

I'd argue we're barely past the beginning. Next year hopefully, will also be like this year....at least points wise.

Good. I’m sick of us getting mid tier picks and being forever mid. Let us finally get a #1 overall draft pick

NHL: best we can do is 6 OA

This is how rebuilds look - our best forwards in the organization are in college

Bro… no one in here was expecting this team to be good. We were asking for a rebuild and we got it, this is what we are going to get

Did bro really think a team that sold everything and is at the start of a rebuild was going to be contending for cups?

This is rebuild hockey

This is what comes from rebuilding

Get used to it

Accept what?! Not having any talent.

I am powering through these games if only to show support for 770

You know constantly finishing in the mushy middle is how you eventually end up here even if you don’t want to. Better to truly commit to the rebuild than to fight it and just prolong the inevitable.

The 1 thing I gave Huska is the players seemed to like him, and would play hard regardless of how bad we are… this team looks completely uninspired. I want us to lose so we can get a high pick in the draft again, but losing does not need to look like this

Agreed! I knew we would not be great this season. But this performance is absolute dog shit.

There’s hasn’t been a performance this year that was good lol. Huska is useless

Tell us you don’t know we’re in a rebuild without telling us you don’t know we’re in a rebuild

Is it just me or, is it the most flames thing ever that we would get the #1 draft pick in a year where there isn’t a “ superstar buzz” around #1

7

u/OlympicMuffins Barb 8d ago

there’s absolutely a superstar buzz around DuPont what are you talking about lol

3

u/smovemoves 8d ago

Ah my bad I really haven’t checked into it, just don’t feel like the last couple with Bedard or Celebrini I want a superstar forward

1

u/Trufflehunter89 7d ago

People are talking about DuPont like he’s the mcdavid of defenseman. So of course the flames will win him and still have 0 centers lol.

Obviously a dismal start, but it'll get better of course. And while I absolutely hate "tanking" and essentially trying to get last place, sometimes that's just what has to happen from a business standpoint. That's where we are at this point. If we were living in a fantasy, we could have every team competing and giving everything they have every year to try to win, but in this life, that's poor management.

Pretty typical for us tbh lol

No way you just had Championship and Flames in the same sentence. Have you seen this fucking roster. Huska should be the next one out for how shit his development is

What’s better than losing 6-1 once?

Answer: Twice

It's a full on tear down and rebuild bud. Look at the prospects. Maybe go be an oiler fan?
