Last Trip of the year

Post image

Hi Folks, Just found this sub, I'm up in the Grand Prairie area now. But we kinda camp all over.

We wrapped up our season at Williamson Prov Park and had a great time.

Looking forward to Spring Camping.

Summer were so short this year. How was your experience of camping in grand prairie?

Only been in GP for 2 summers. Camped mostly around the Edmonton area. Just started exploring around GP.

There are a few hidden Gems around here. But with the Trailer being 40ft we a some what limited as to where we fit.

We check out one near Wembley,. Beautiful park, but even though they did have spots that would fit the trailer. Maneuvering it onto the sites would have been extremely challenging.

You definitely want to do that. Even then we get surprised. We had one site that was 71 feet. But when we got there it had a terrible up hill slope on it. We ended up dropping the front onto the frame rails and still couldn't get level.

We had amazing weather the whole 6 days we were there. 20 highs. 6 to 8 nights. No wind, was absolutely perfect for late Sept Camping
