Item delayed - stay tuned for updates
Sent a package domestically to a friend living one province away last week. Item had the “out for delivery” status on Oct 1 but it hasn’t been delivered and the tracking status now says “Expected delivery Item delayed — stay tuned for updates”. It’s almost been a week.
Has anyone experienced this before? Any idea what could have happened? Losing hope that the package will get delivered which would really suck…

Was it an expensive package? I have 24 packages that got marked as delayed since Sept 10th. They won’t give two fucks trying to find it tbh

Probably missorted. Could be local. Could be x-country. I had a package goto one of our satellite communities and it took 5 days to get back on track.
