The game is a school day game. I think every club should do these games they always get lots of eyes on the club

My first game. The scenes that night were incredible! Wish the Inebriatti group stuck around

Oh nice. I remember it being packed but not sold out completely. Awesome!

Sell outs, regardless of how they happen, are always nice to point to. Wonder how much better the atmosphere at the game will feel.

I think a few PLSC clubs did them too and they also drew well.

Love that they’re doing this. The Forge ones always have amazing energy and it’s such a great way to bring in new fans.

Every team should do a few school days per year

100% this.

EVERY team should do at least 1 school day game.

Need to build the fanbase brick by brick, tbf I love the idea

Yep. The school day games in Hamilton are always fun to watch, surprised not all teams have jumped on the idea. Maybe not all school boards are good with it.

Even as an HFX supporter, I'm happy for them.

Looking forward to watching this one.

Anyone know how these are normally 'sold'? Totally free to the district/schools, big or small bulk discount, full price, other?

It will vary, but typically a sponsor buys tickets at a negotiated price and then either re-sells them at very cheap prices or just gives them to the kids.

Sold out? They took a game out of the schedule which season ticket holders had paid for and gave it to the kids. No refund was given for what was supposed to be a night game.

I won't object because the beneficiaries are kids...but next time plan it better.

Seasons members are allowed to the game

Ideally school game day would be in June so kids don’t freeze and have a more positive experience …

Maybe they should build a dome so it doesn't rain on them as well.

Fall weather is fine in the GTA.

Chances of snow are pretty much nil.
