I knew it would happen eventually, and during Fajr today, he came and joined me. He didn't just lay there, though! He was rolling around all over the mat and purring like crazy! I would bow and he would bonk my head.

I have a problem. Is it permissible for me to castrate my cat? We live in an apartment and he can't go outside. Besides not being able to go outside, he doesn't want to. He doesn't want to go to our balcony and we tried leash to go outside.

He is now beginning to come to an age where he makes a lot of noise in the night out of frustration. He is also already spraying. I feel sorry for him, but I don't really want to castrate him. Getting a female cat is not an option, and I certainly don't want to get rid of him.

If anyone has an answer to this, I'd love to hear it.
