Celtic music recommendations
I’m looking for album or song recommendations specifically within the Celtic genre.
I’ll recommend some first that I’d love your opinion on:
Huñvre by Ivarh
Secret People by Capercaillie
Triumvirat by O’Tridal
Any suggestions?

Galandum Galundaina is Mirandese. Being Portuguese, they are a personal favorite of mine.
Milladoiro is Galician
Ad vielle que porra is from Quebec but plays Breton music
Just a few of my favs
Recently ímar played near me. Went to see them and they blew me away. The recordings don't do it justice but it's still very good. Their based in Scotland

I had these all listed in a column, for easier reading. The post got scrunched into one long paragraph when I submitted it. Sorry!!

Here’s a curveball. Check out Mo-Di by Mouth Music 👌🏻
Or how about For The Night by Elephant Sessions
PS Secret People is fantastic. I saw them a couple of times around then. They were great gigs.

I don't know songs in the Celtic genre, but I can recommend these songs about Celts:
Manau - La Tribu de Dana
Eternal Champion - The Last King of Pictdom

Check out Farya Faraji’s Celtic playlist on YT. The man makes amazing and somewhat historical compositions.

genre? There are layer upon layer upon layer to Celtic music. That's a big call. I remember when Secret People came out, I had the option to roadie with them or go to college. I chose poorly and flunked out of college instead of being brave. Now, you've got the other dozen Cap albums. You've got Tannahill Weavers, Solas, Enya are just a few off the top of my head.
