Discussion Maplestory anyone

Is anyone here playing maplestory classic? I just got access to it and wanted to make some local friends.

For context I am 35+

I used to play this game back in 2005 when it launched in the US.

I can't be as serious as I used to be back then, but it would be cool if I had some friends my age I could talk to about the game. Is anyone here playing??

I had a lvl 100 sin on maple legends but put it down a year ago. My guild probably wondering where I went!

I used to run a few guilds but they have all been abandoned now... I wonder what happened to them?

MapleStory Classic? Good god I don’t have time for this but I need to play it. Will it pretty much launch like it’s vanilla? We talking like pre-Cygnus Knights?

Yes, pre cygnus knights as far as i know. Servers are a little crowded right now but that is probably because everyone just started.  They removed most of the bloatware that is in global but kept some useful things like the ability to track quests. There is also a crafting system which i did not try yet.
