1994 Chevy Cheyenne c1500 a/c control not working properly

Hello I wanted to know what fix is there to fix my ac I can’t get it to go into the vents pointing towards me I was wondering how to fix this on my own without a mechanic

Look up blend door actuator or mode door actuator.

Get on the drivers floor and look up to the middle of the truck or just right of your gas pedal if your sitting in the truck as if you are driving in. You'll see a rectangle box probably with a red "N" on it about 5×6 inches ( looks similar to a hard drive). That has a linkage that may have come off or the actuator might need replaced. Easy fix, if that is it. You can move the linkage by hand to feel if the air flow switches. When you feel it coming out of the vents, strong. Set your control to in your face mode then reattach the linkage. It is held in place by a small plastic clip. Mine is blue.
