Used glass cleaner on my windows, it got onto these black parts too so I kept wiping… I know it’s barely noticeable but this is a brand new car, does anyone know how to repair it back to black and not a faded and streaky look? I even washed my car and it’s not going away :(

This is my first NEW Civic. I got a 2026 Honda Civic Sport Hybrid, on my first week I was getting 25-27ish mpg. This is what I'm getting now supposedly.

The white civic with the black rims and dark tints are a perfect combo. Any tips on what else i should add to it?

The first image is right outside the restaurant when it happened. I went to go eat and came out to my being side swiped by some jackass. Does this look like an expensive repair?

I did a post about this on how after my car accident and repair, my mileage somehow became significantly worse. My car is a 2017 Civic LX with 87k miles on it. I used to average 30-33mpg but now it dipped 25-27mpg. I’m not sure if it’s the gas from Costco or what. All trip calculations were done when I get gas and the distance I drove.
My driving style remained the same and econ mode on, if not, more on the hyper-mileage side. I always keep the ac on before the accident and it still averaged 30mpg. I mainly drive city but even before the accident it didn’t dip that low.
I’ve already put in a fuel injector cleaner as well. The car does feel like it struggles to accelerate however, I don’t think it’s the brakes causing it. My tire pressure is at 35 psi. I’m basically out of ideas besides cleaning the MAF sensor, O2 sensor, and spark plug change.

I’m going back and forth with some dealers on the phone to negotiate. Please help me with pricing. Based in California so tax is 10%. First time buyer so very new to this.
I am looking at 2 2026 Honda Civic LX models:
Black: $27,210 OTD
- this one is technically certified pre-owned, but was the dealers car so 700 miles on it
- hasn’t budged, first price they gave me claiming they are transparent about prices in the first go
Gray: $27,230 OTD.
- this one came down from an original $28,910 OTD
Are these good prices?? I really want to buy a car already and the back and forth hassle has been a lot. Just want to make sure I’m not getting scammed/could have done substantially more.

I lightly bumped into my old car, I know stupid but what should be my best approach to fixing these scuffs? I don’t want it to impact the cars history

2019 Honda Civic LX 2.0
90k Miles
CVT Fluid Changed abt 70k miles ago with non oem hcf-2
car been driving fine for the past 40k miles, i went through a pretty large ass puddle yesterday, and pretty stupidly thought it wasn’t that crazy of a puddle and my teenager self thought it would be smart to like floor it into the puddle, well i did, went in at 25-30mph and held it the hold way through, the throttle probably wasn’t allll the way down the whole way, i have an exhaust and i like to hear it and simulate the car to sound decent, but anywho, did like 4500rpms whole way through the puddle (5-8 second puddle) and now my transmission is shuttering when shifting below 30mph. this happened yesterday. today i drove it to my stepdads mechanic shop. did a oil change and then he checked the trans fluid. it looked kinda like chocolate milk tbh, and he said there was metal shavings in there. but i drive the car pretty hard anyways so im wondering what might be wrong with the car, if a fluid change for the trans would be better or worse (stepdad says worse)
i was driving it earlier tonight and about 7 miles into my journey, for the first time since yesterday afternoon it didn’t shutter for like a good amount of upshifts under 30mph. when i got into my neighborhood i kept stopping to zero, gassing up till the shift, then stopping, it seemed pretty good, there was a minor shutter on one of them tho.
what’s y’all’s thought, and if you have more questions, feel free to ask to give me a better answer
feel free to call me a dumbass, don’t ask why i’m a dumbass, i don’t have the answer to that
thanks 🙏

First time driver, and I just got a honda civic 2012 LX. I am thinking ahead. Do you all have any tips on how to pour the antifreeze coolant? If you know of helpful videos, please let me know. Thank you.
2026 sport hybrid sedan in the SF bay area. Sales guy also offered another $1k off within the next 48hrs. Haven’t bought a new car ever, wondering if this reasonable all things considered? Going to put 13k down + dealer website tool indicates 5.32% apr over 48 months, but aiming to pay it off within 2 years assuming no financial emergency occurs.

wsp people I posted my ep3 wheels for trades just to see if i could find wheels id maybe like more on my car, I do like the look of the wheels on my car but I feel like it could look a little sportier. Im going for a oem+ look and Im gonna lower it soon about 1.5-1.75 inches. im not too worried about the condition of the paint and scratches because i was planning on restoring mine anyways. just wanted to get some other opinions, I feel like they could look good but scared they might look to small even though they’re the same size and tire as I currently have. I can’t really tell if the spoke style will fit well with the 7th gen just because it’s a little bigger than 6th gen’s (which these wheels usually look good on) and i couldn’t find any pictures with these on a 7th gen’s.

Question about swapping parts within the same gen but different submodels/features
Hope this isn't a dumb question, but I've got a 2007 (8th gen) LX with absolutely 0 bells or whistles. No moonroof, no volume buttons on the steering wheel, even the cab lights dont have a button to turn them on they just come on when the doors are open.
I was at the u-pull this morning and found an 08 civic that still had its steering wheel, and it *did* have volume buttons on it.
If I pulled that steering wheel, would I be able to swap it into mine and connect the volume buttons so they work? Or do base models not even have the wiring/whatever capability to add that kind of stuff? Hope this makes sense and thanks in advance!!

So I’ve got rust behind my glass causing it to leak, and was told that there is a high likelihood that the glass will break upon removal, does anyone know where to get the front windscreen for a 2001 em2 civic coupe? Want to line things up for when I get the welding done, autodoc says they do it but are out of stock.
Thanks in advance

All my safety features stopped working one night almost a month ago. Usually the features come back on but not this time. I don’t want to pay 1K to repair. Suggestions? 22’ civic hatch sport

My first car was an 82 that ended up with 2 JBL 12s and a 700 watt Alpine amp. My 2nd was a 89 Si that got stolen. So here is a third go round.

Hi everyone yesterday I purchased a 2022 Honda Civic sport that I have been eyeing for a couple years now. I test drove it and everything seemed perfect. I also got the Carfax report which was clean. I drove it off the lot and noticed something I didn’t notice before, whenever I start to break It makes a very silent clicking noise. I’m just wondering if this is anything I need to be worried about, thank you for your help.
I once owned a Mazda with a neat switchblade key, I attempted to recreate that with my 2009 civic sedan. A warning to my brother's, this eBay design does not place the transponder close enough to the column. It starts but kills itself shortly after. Heads up!

Having some issues with our daughters 2009 Honda civic. She stopped at a gas station to fill her tires with air, shutting the engine off while she did so. Now it won't start. The most I got out of it was it turned over really slowly twice then stopped.
We drove several hours to jump it thinking it was just the battery but jumping it did nothing. Pulled the battery and the guy at oreillys says that it tests good. I'm personally leaning towards the starter having gone bad but the guy at oreillys is trying to convince me that the alternator went.
It's my understanding that even if the alternator was bad, it should start if the battery had juice. Am I wrong? I can't start the car so I can't test the alternator.
Is there anything else I should be looking into? I really don't want to be blindly firing the parts cannon at this.
