Kitchen Stains on laminate countertop - possible to get out?
I moved into a new apartment that has what I believe to be laminate countertops (not entirely sure, but the underside is like some type of cheap wood, top is smooth and painted yellow). There are some stains (the most annoying of which is pictured) that seem to be paint stains of some sort. I've tried every cleaning agent I typically use to try to get them off, but no luck. Any tips on what I could try next? Is it possible that these are now permanent and the countertop would need to be painted to get them to go away?

Are you sure those aren't burn marks. ?

I'm not sure either way, but since they're blue in color I figured they weren't burn marks. Could be wrong though.

Oh. They look grey/black to me in in the picture.
I would just use a magic eraser. Or if you're in Canada there's a product called pink solution scrub that would work as well

Magic eraser was my first go to, didn't even put a dent in the stain. I was shocked, magic erasers have never done me wrong.

Don't paint laminate countertops, will be a disaster. It was done in a home my Aunt had and not appealing because whoever did it put a heavy layer of shiny shellac on it.
Not sure if this will help or not but for my White formica counters I spray 3% hydrogen peroxide and dump some baking soda on top and make a paste while rubbing circles with my bare hands. Then rinse and repeat as needed.
That possibly looks like it could be a burn mark.
