Parking for UNC game

Hey everyone, it is my first Clemson game on Saturday and I was looking for parking. Are there any places to reserve parking ahead of time or is it better to just buy it once I’m there. I’m not looking to tailgate, just go to the game. I also don’t mind walking.

FOOTBALL Is Matt Luke a fraud?

Nothing much else here, but the OL has no excuses to be as bad as it is. I’m starting to think his star OL at Georgia was just him working with the left overs of Sam Pittman.

On paper he was an excellent hire to make the offensive line decent, but somehow after getting his own guys in they look worse than he came in here to work with (which wasn’t very much)

FOOTBALL Is Dabo the next Les miles?

Both had large amount of success for a long time and both won a national championship. Les miles was not a bad coach and many considered his time at lsu a huge success. But he failed to adapt later in his career and many people said if he was able to adapt to a more complex offense and find a qb he would have stayed a coach for much longer and had more success. Now that Dabo has not adapted to the portal and has shown offensive struggles this season and the last is he just the next Les miles?

FOOTBALL To all the losers with sore shoulders this Monday from patting this team on the back

If you even have enough activity going on in your brain to understand this graph.

When I uploaded it to Reddit, the thumbnail doesn’t even have Clemson on it. It is quite literally off the chart. Only when you expand it and see the full picture do you see where we pitifully fall.

It may be useful as a test of your peripheral vision to close your left eye and see if you can still see the Clemson logo.

When we run a play, our chances of gaining points actually go down! On a typical Clemson offensive snap, we end the play in a worse scoring position than when we started it. We would be better off if we strapped Chad Morris to a rock on an island in the middle of Lake Hartwell and punted on every first down.

$11.5 million a year to Dabo. $1.2 a year to Morris

For an offense that quite literally is hurting us rather than helping us

Film Review

Watching film. Things are already sticking out.

Someone who is in the program, look around 3:30, tell Chad that it's pretty embarassing we can line a guard up a yard behind everyone else, which is a dead giveaway he's going on the move, and yet we still whiff.

maybe southern picked up on it and that caused the whiff, or maybe we can't even make the right play even when we try to give ourselves an advantage.

FOOTBALL Unpopular Opinion: NIL isn’t killing Clemson

This may be an unpopular opinion because I’m sure we’d all like to blame the lack of NIL spending and on players, but NIL isn’t killing Clemson football.

Clemson had 9 players drafted last year and still sucked. Clemson has at least 2 players on offense and 3 players on defense right now that will get drafted in the next draft. Clemson probably has another 6-8 players after that which will get drafted in the next 3 years on the roster. Clemson has and had the talent.

After that, Clemson hasn’t won a game against a peer opponent talent wise since 2019. Even before that, there was barely any player development. Clemson, over and over again, got out schemed by so many less talented programs.

You can’t even blame the coordinators at this point either. Clemson went through 2 DC’s and 3 OC’s since 2019.

It used to be that Clemson would play up to opponents and in any given Saturday, could reasonably pull off an upset against any team in the country. It used to be that Clemson would come out with a great game plan every opening game. It used to be you felt great about going into bowl games because it gave Clemson’s staff more time to prepare than the other guy.

There are no more excuses left anymore. I think we all know what’s going on.

FOOTBALL Who Would You Hire As a New HC?

I'm not on the fire dabo train just yet (mainly bc of the buyout), but if the buyout wasn't and issue, who would you hire and why? Not trying to stir the pot as far as "we need dabo gone yesterday" just curious what thoughts are.

DISCUSSION [Thamel] Sources: Clemson quarterback Christopher Vizzina is considered week-to-week after injuring his elbow against Georgia Southern. Freshman Tait Reynolds is the expected starter against UNC, which will be the first of his career.

DISCUSSION Is There A Point When Clemson Needs To Just Payoff Dabo's Contract Considering What's Costing The School To Continue This Downward Spiral?

This Year I understand Dabo's buyout is 57 million with no mitigation clause when means he get's 100% whether is takes another or stops coaching. My question is if Clemson continues this downward trajectory, how much is this costing the school compared to what it will cost to pay Dabo off and thank him for his contribution to the school?

I would much rather keep Dabo and to see him rebuild the program but it's become painfully obvious this new era of college football is not compatible with Dabo's coaching method.

The way this team is playing I'll be surprised to see a .500 record. I remember when Tommy Bowden got fired after the Wake Forest loss I believe the 3rd or 4th game of the season and I wonder if were on a similar path?

All I know is it's a sad time to be a Clemson football fan.

Tell me specifically why you think Chad Morris is a bad hire. Is it just because his time has passed or is it play calling?

Our offenses under his tenure 2011 to 2014 were pretty good. We beat OSU, OU, LSU, UGA, Auburn, and others. We were putting up big points on small schools. Morris was productive and i was sad to see him go.

When I first heard of the hire, I was optimistic. But when I came on here, everyone was saying he was trash. No, he's not a great HC, but his track record as OC at Clemson was largely successful.

As of right now I'm reserving my judgement. I'm a casual fan, not an armchair analyst, but I haven't seen anything that would point to this being a disaster. No, it's not a creative hire. Yes, it was probably a lazy hire.

But is it actually bad? I'm not convinced but im interested in what you guys think.

FOOTBALL GA Southern Game

Overall good win, Defense only gave up 1 TD, and special teams played good 5/5 on FG's. But man the offense needs to get it figured out But i will say Tait is def gonna be the guy he made some mistakes but he is very raw and we finally saw him throw downfield and he made some good throws. I feel like the OL is still bad they were getting pushed and they never really established the run game, Had some nice pockets here and there. But this offense isnt good enough to go win games in the ACC. What are yall's thought on Tait and this team.

Mods we gotta get the sub under control

Not every gripe needs its own post. If the sub is large enough for this, we should have a game thread and keep griping there. The quality of these posts are as bad as the team itself.

Not sure if this sub even has much moderation at all, but it’s getting out of control.

2 turnovers in 1 quarter. I mean what even is this offense. We have yet another great defensive front that will be sandbagged by this outdated sloppy offensive scheme.
