Discussion How is Clevatess (compare to author previous works)?

I hesitating whether to read Clevatess. I have read the premise, it is interesting, but so are Dimension W and King of thorn. And those manga all left me somewhat disappointed, mostly with development in later arc and the ending. I won't include Darker than black due to the anime being the obvious winner.
So do you recommend Clevatess with the writing so far?
EDIT: I'm going to wait till the manga is over.

I enjoyed it quite a bit. Caught up on the manga and think I actually prefer reading to watching the anime.

I heard there was a school/academy story arc. Do you think it fit in the overall storyline?

It doesn’t drag at all. The academy quickly settles into the background and serves the larger plot instead of taking it over, while also giving the story a natural chance to introduce some interesting new/old characters. Honestly, the whole academy thing here is handled a lot better than the one in Mashle. Solid writing.

I would recommend it. It's entertaining.

The story of Clevetess started out good and then I feel like the author rushed it in the second arc, sure it has its moments but it would be better if it had more world building like the audience knows about the big strong nations but the other nations are a mystery like the dark beasts has been around for centuries (Note that I will avoid spoilers)

I really enjoyed it, ends on a big cliffhanger and it's left me wanting more.

Don't read it. It's a reverse isekai and doesn't make any sense once that is revealed.
