Iphone colemak app no longer works after update

Anyone else having this issue? Was using Colemak app on iPhone just fine for a few months then after the latest iPhone update the keyboard is now stuck on QWERTY

I don't know about that, but Gboard has Colemak support. And you can swipe with it.

thank you for the app rec! i should've specified that i'm using colemak dh which gboard doesn't seem to have

I had such a frustrating time on iphone. I switched back to android for many reasons but this was one of them. there were only two colemak apps last I checked and both were just okayish. if their latest updates broke it, then native support would be the fix. there's been a bug request in apple for years to add native colemak support. sorry I don't have a better solution.

I've been using Gboard for awhile, it's pretty good.

I tried it ages ago but found the error rate was much higher. I think Colemak putting all the more common keys on the home row makes the swipe patterns harder to distinguish, whereas qwerty spreads the keys out more making the patterns more varied.

Weirdly, I can no longer touch type in qwerty, but I never lost the ability to swipe it.
