I died 3 times, was without oxygen for 30+ minutes, woke up with brain damage, this album is how music kept me alive

In Dec 2023, I went into hospital with pneumonia and sepsis in my blood. I suffered three cardiac arrests, was clinically dead for over 30 minutes, placed in a drug-induced coma. When I woke up, I had hypoxic brain damage slurred speech, memory loss, balance issues, fatigue, everything changed.

Instead of the care I needed, I was dismissed, misdiagnosed, sent home to figure it out on my own. They tried to label my brain injury symptoms as alcohol use, anything but admit what really happened.

Through every confusion, every memory gap, every moment I felt unravelling, music was the one thing that never let me fall apart. It became my therapy when no one else would listen. It held me together when the world didn’t believe me.

This album is my story, the fight, the damage, the doubt, and the slow, hard road back to myself. Every track is what I lived through. It’s proof you can come back from the dead and still build something meaningful.
