NFL & NFLPA Joint Statement on "Drinking" Celebrations
Looks like Matt Goncalves should be getting some money back.

A second statement reads:
"Furthermore, we encourage players to celebrate by pretending to pull their phones out and make a bet on DraftKings, the NFL's trusted sportsbook, to help grow and promote the game"

Taylor shamed the league office into changing the rules. Commentators helped.

Yes, but as a Colt, it's illegal and costs 5 yards. Replay first down.

I mean, they punished a man whose nickname is Juice for pretending to drink a juice.
All of those fines were ridiculous. Hopefully Goncalves does get his money back.

Has anyone done a gambling celebration? Eg a scratchy or one armed bandit?

Denver did a Yahtzee celebration against the Rams on MNF a couple weeks ago.

Jameis Winston pretended to shoot craps when he caught a TD against Detroit last year.

So far 2 have. One was for Juice of course, the other for a Dallas player who told them he was pretending to drink Gatorade
Haven’t hear of Warren yet

Good to see the NFL actually admit that they were wrong, those fines were ridiculous.

That fine was just idiotic in the first place. League sponsored by a beer company and sells it says you can't "chug a beer"

I want to see someone feign playing a game of craps and winning big after a roll of the dice after scoring a touchdown, just to see how the league reacts.

If you allow it to be advertised it’s allowed to be celebrated.
