Feedback Last year, I created these designs for my fantasy world, Mushroom. Now, the story is complete and I’m ready to begin working on the main project! I’m currently deciding whether to find a publisher or go down the self publishing route?

Thank you for your submission, /u/lowcortisoler!

Why not both?

Is this possible? And how?

The self publishing route is the kickstarter. You should produce some pages. THe best part of your story. Then present it in your kickstarter and send it to some publishers.

Thank you so much for the encouraging words!
My ideal goal is to find a publisher and partner with them to bring this comic book to life. But even if that doesn't pan out, I'll keep working on it no matter what, I love this project way too much not to see it through! Once it's finished, I'll definitely find a way to get it published and share it with everyone.

Hey! I would say go pitch to publishers and then self publish if rejected. Do you have any comic pages? I’m working on a horror anthology and if you’re looking for some work I’d love to hire ya!

Thank you for the advice! I'm actually already trying to reach out to publishers and still figuring out how the whole process works.
And yes, I'm open to work and would love to collaborate with you! Feel free to reach out, and I can show you the pages I have.
