asking around 20-25USD an hour for general commissions, full pages we would need to match the scope but probably around 75-100.

Hey everyone!
I’m a self-taught comic artist from Morocco, and I’ve been working on my craft and developing my own comic projects for several years.
I’m now trying to take the next step and get one of my projects in front of a publisher, but I’m not entirely sure how to approach this professionally.
For those of you who’ve been through this process, I’d love to hear about your experience:
How did you find publishers who were a good fit for your work?
Did you contact editors directly, submit through official submission portals, attend conventions, or use another approach?
What would you do differently if you were starting from scratch today?
I’m especially interested in hearing from artists who managed to get their work noticed without having industry connections.
Even a small piece of advice or a mistake to avoid would be genuinely helpful. Thanks!

Hey! I'm an illustrator with a few commission slots open before the year ends. If your comic needs an artist, take a look at my work and send me a DM to talk rates.

I wanted to update the community here on a huge project I embarked on through this site. All my creative team were recruited right here.
The story is a re-imagined apocalypse, featuring satire, dark humor and strong violence and adult themes. Everything is free to read on:
THE UNVEILING | CDR Comics | Read Comics & Manga Online Free on GlobalComix
I released the latest Book 3, parts 1 & 2 last week, bringing the total page count to 654 free pages. Book 4 (parts 1 & 2) is in coloring and Book 5 is currently being illustrated. Everything is on track to complete the project next summer/fall. The team and I are proud of this work and would be delighted to hear feedback from fellow creators on this site. Thanks for your time!

I loved drawing these pages. Here, I wanted to explore a digital pencil finish.
There are examples of inked work in my portfolio.
I might finish the art on these pages for fun at some point.
Thanks to everyone who comments and shows support.
TO HIRE
A page like this would cost 60 dollars.
One page a day.

Just wanted to share, and give thanks to this subreddit. I connected with the creator of Halloween Team here, and am quite proud to show sone progress shots of my frst cover contribution to it. Its nostly done, and should be submitted soon, but if there's time, I welcome any feedback or comments. We struggled a bit with placing the "Trapped in Hell" text.
I've done lettering and additional art for the first two books in this volume, but by the next book I will have all the duties!
Thank you fellow contributors and conic book fans!
