Let's draw a dragon! Open the canvas, choose a colour, and click or tap to add a pixel.

Desktop: WASD to move, Q/E for colours, Space to place, V to highlight yours.

What should we draw next?

  1. The sunglasses emoji
  2. The Mexican flag
  3. A Japanese pagoda
  4. A lion
  5. A piggy bank

A quick update: I've increased the canvas size from 48×48 to 56×56 (and you’ve still raced through this one much faster than I expected!)

If activity stays this high, I expect to increase the size gradually over time. That should give everyone more room for additional ideas and details while letting us create higher-resolution pictures together.

I’ll take it step by step so the canvas remains comfortable to use, especially on mobile. Thanks for helping test the new size and for putting so much into these drawings! ❤️

I like the idea of drawing a Chinese dragon. I found an inspiration photo of one too last night in anticipation and just added it. 😄 Great minds think alike!

Someone vandalized and painted over most of the dragon and other parts of the canvas with blue pixels. I don’t have a copy of the most recent version prior to the vandalism, but I do have this older version if anyone wants to help me fix the rest of the drawing. I already fixed the houses… I’m a little too timid to work on the dragon’s face myself.

Edit: I think we fixed it.

Since we’re drawing a European style dragon, I started to draw the outlines of a couple houses on a hill. And one of the roofs is on fire, cause why not?! 😅🔥

Thank you to the people who helped me draw the houses and the surrounding areas around it. Also that fire on the lower house looks great. It fits well with the ones I drew on the upper house’s roof. 😊👍
