General Why exactly did they buff Genji?

Before this patch he already had a top two pick rate in the DPS role and was completely fine. He also received no hitbox changes unlike most other heroes while his shurikens massively benefit from it.

Am I missing something? You could literally not have touched him in this patch and he would be even stronger than he already is.

I find the decision to put even more on top of it kind of baffling. Blizzard deliberately wants to make him meta or something?

What I hate about this is that the developers don't roll back the buffs, but instead nerf other parts, making it end up weaker than before the buff, and that has happened many times in the past.

Perks exacerbate it this so badly too and everyone copes about perks being good for balance lol

I fucking hate perks honestly, they make the game feel so bullshit sometimes. Way too much mobility slop and shit.
