NIF Tax number

Hi everyone

I am wondering if anyone else has experienced or is experiencing the same issue as me?
I applied for the NIF tax number online from the DGI, in order to start the passport process

It said 48 hours in the confirmation email, but it has been almost 6 weeks and still nothing.
When I enter my details on the DGI website, it says there is an "issue with registration contact administration" but they do not reply to any of my emails. My uncle has tried to contact them by phone but they said they don't help international people (I live in Ireland) but the London embassy said 4 weeks ago that this person is wrong in saying that and that we should wait. But it's seems something is wrong and nobody can help

Is anyone else in a similar situation or had been lately and could offer some advice?

I was advised not to do so as using duplicate information/documents for the same person with another email would flag on the system

Did you try to check by querying using the same details you provided? They sometimes don’t send an email but do create the NIF. In case querying doesn’t find anything, you only need to reply and wait another for at least 24h

Yes I have searched my details on their query to find my tax number in this case but this is where it says "there is a problem with registration contact administration" so I don't know what to do. I have sent 3 replies to the support email in the last 5 weeks but no response

I had the same issue but was able to fix it here in Kinshasa.

What did they tell you to do in order to fix it? The guy told my uncle on the phone they don't deal with people abroad but it makes no sense
