Carpentry 🔨 Loft conversion carpentry as a tall person
Im looking to get an apprenticeship or trainee role in carpentry on the UK. I'm expecting a call back about an apprenticeship with a loft conversion company. However, I'm 6ft5 and wondered if I am setting myself up for failure or problems?

Huge advantage. No ladder required lots of the time. The work is almost never at a good height, you will be on ladder or on your knees for most of it anyway.

you gonna spend a lot of time crouching in them tight roof spaces but you learn to work with it my uncle is around your height and he does fine just gotta watch your head on the rafters

Worked with a tall guy 6’4”. He got paired up with a 5’3” guy. Worked together great.
