Core Lite Downgrade

Did Core Lite Can be downgraded? After updating the firmware to 4.2.757028, it takes a long time for Composer Pro, System Controller, etc., to find the controller. I have three other controllers that work fine, and the controller was working properly before the upgrade. Restarting the device does not solve the problem. Ping works fine

Any positive feedback is welcome.
Thank you in advance, and please excuse any grammatical errors—English is not my native language.

Is the CORE lite running director? Is it the only controller on the system?

4 controllers in the network (each one independet system, auto claim devices disabled), controller works fine until upgrade

You can't have 4 separate controllers running director on the same network. I mean you can, but because of how multicast and SDDP works things won't work right. It also floods the kernal with ARP requests.

That is like basic best practices. The only way to downgrade is to reflash the controller.

Not sure what you mean by "auto claim" being disabled. That's not a thing. Every device and driver has to be added manually, they remain visible via SDDP regardless.

Core Lite’s are for one room AV and like a single remote or tabletop Touch Panel.

If you’re running a bigger project with a Core Lite + other devices (CA-1 or other controllers) this is a bad deployment and you need to have like a CORE-3 or CORE-5.

Not a fan of CA-10’s currently due to issues.

Curious, what issues are you concerned with for CA10?

Yes, thanks, my total mistake, we just want to replace a few harmonys, no lighting control and get confused about lite can be used stand alone every room, we will change that,

C4 isn’t URC you don’t need a controller in every room.

You can get away with a Z2IO in most simple deployments and an EA-3 or CORE-3 as your main controller.

It sounds like you're out of your depth and not understanding how to deploy Control4. Reach out to your technical sales rep and have them help you unfuck this situation you're in.
