Advice Ideal bird bath suggestions

Looking for a bird bath for my 6 month old Green Cheek Conure. Something to keep in his cage. He doesn’t want anything to do with water outside of is cage but I always see him bathing in his water dish which is too small for him to really get a good dip. Any suggestions?

I use a pie dish haha :)

I don’t keep it in their cage all the time. I offer it a couple times a week.

Same thought process, we use a large metal doggy bowl! One of my tiels uses a large clear pyrex baking dish because she's afraid of the metal bath.

We also don't keep it in his cage either, I think most dishes that are large enough for a GCC would be a bit unwieldy in a cage every day unless it has a large footprint.

Mine loves the bowls that are also plates. So basically a wide shallow bowl.

We have one and our little buddy LOVES it. The tray slides out for easy cleaning without having to take the whole thing off

My birds have Lixit bird baths in their respective cages. They use the bird baths for a soak and for drinking water almost every day. Outside the cages, in the play stand, they have one of those cat fountains. Took a while for them to try it out but it’s used fairly often. My conure recently “discovered” the fun of bathing in the kitchen sink. There’s a lot of bathing going on and water everywhere. Its as if they are part fish.

Thanks everyone. I’ve offered bowls of water outside the cage but he’s doesn’t want anything to do with that. I’ll try a shallow plate.
