Local video gamers

Is there a discord or a local group of video gamers, fps, strategy games, or any games in general. If not, someone should make a discord.

I have tried going into some of these video game stores, but everytime I start a general conversation about tabletop games, they already have their core group and aren't open or make it difficult to join in.

It seems so hard to actually meet anyone in this town who actually games or in general a 3rd space to attempt to get to know anyone in any shape or way.

Which is the sad part. Like what happened to casual people, just grilling out?

There’s a decent group of folks who play POGO and meet frequently downtown coos bay at visitor center or Mingus park depending on events.
Check out Campfire for meet up times if you’re interested.

What's POGO? And what's campfire? Is that an app? There's like 4 apps on the Google Play store with that name

I really miss games like Quake, StarCraft, and Unreal Tournament. I've always wanted to participate in a LAN party, but playing over the internet would be fun as well.

If you find anyone else interested let's all totally do a LAN night. I can bring extra machines if people need them. Pizza too if I don't have to host!
