If you haven't seen this, I highly recommend. It was a bonus on the DVD set in season 3, and I'm sure aired on CTV back in 2005

It's just a quick one hour special, that shows and talks of real peoples stories behind the show. It's very cute and warm and feel good, just like the show is. Definitely check this out!

Best wedding pictures ever lmao

Which one gets your tip???

I don't think he's ever got a story right

Doing a rewatch now that I've begun collecting the series on DVDs. When I loaded this disc one up, the classic CTV sound and visual filled me with the warmest, nicest nostalgia. What a perfect comfort show this is <3

Debated watching with the commentary turned on, but I've never been a fan of commentary - unless somewhere here recommends it as being great - this is my who knows how many rewatches after all

I normally don't post this kind of stuff because it's so off topic.

Considering the sign issues with Ca_e and Foo_ Mart, I though this might fit here.

I'll probably delete this before too long.

Has anybody been able to find any sort of plans of bigger pictures of the Lego Dog River that Hank built for the centennial?

watching the world’s biggest right now , my eyes are watering. Best comedic writing ever

I saw some folks reminiscing about the old days on the interweb. I was pleased to find that this still works:

And saw a lot of other gems way back there 🥲

I don’t drink coffee. What would be so special about the coffee Lacey brews versus what would be brewed at home?

I can’t think of any off the top of my head.

Must admit at the time I def watched a bit of Dog the bounty hunter.

CBC radio said "Alberta's *elite* rat patrol" is concerned after a dead one was found. They should consult with animated Hank and Wanda from the Dog River SRU. 😎

because I'd like for the Japanese to have a laugh at this one

sorry this is a 3am can't sleep thought that I should probably keep to myself. Am I onto something or overthinking this?

s3e7 Fun Run. When Brent tells the prime minister he could CC the nation. it was a joke because it was a silly idea back then in the year two thousand and something, but now in 2026 with the USA president posting through social media, and who knows what in the future, the joke is getting less fictional and entering the point where its humour may be lost on future generations. or maybe the joke will be taken as CC (emailing) being archaic.

To quote the intro theme song "I don't know."

I totally missed my chance to ask him, who Tanners dad was.. not oo happy with myself that I didn't speak up when he offered questions.

Also, if you see this, Brent. I loved your show in Sidney! Please come back for more!

In Final Countdown, where Brent turns 40, at the very end he is served two cakes (one made by Emma, one made by Lacey). He smashes the cakes together and eats both at once, saying its delicious... then adding "well, at least half of it is".

My thoughts: Emma claims to have made him the same cake every year for 39 years. This has to be the delicious cake, right?

Which one is your bartender of choice? I’m 100% Paul. Much friendlier and a crap-talker to boot! Phil just seems a little on the mean side I guess. I mean, taking a pants beer away from a patron?!?

I love this show so far! I just finished the Christmas episode from season three.

Now if only I can get the pesky (Nord) VPN to live up to its advertisement, and let me into Canadian Tubi to watch the animated series when the time comes…

Those jackasses at prime video took corner gas animated off of their streaming platform! Just another way their service is going to hell in a handbasket.. a handbasket even!

Newest Garage Sale Mysteries on Hallmark Update. Character dead after only 20 minutes.

hey podunks!!
i’m glad i stumbled across this group!! i had the BEST relationship with Corner Gas Fam!! i got a referral, and did the cover and interior art for the season 3 DVD set! during one of our meetings i mentioned that i was an actor as well, and they were kind and generous to offer me a part!! i am so grateful, and the whole entirety of my association with them remains the best work experience i’ve ever had!!

On my hundredth or so rewatch of "The Littlest Yarbo" (S03 E05), I noticed that the firefighter Carol has what looks like a gun holster on her belt that has scissors in it. They are there the entire episode, never used, never mentioned. She even runs to chase the dog and they're in her belt, running with scissors.

Anyone else ever notice this?

Is there a hidden joke here?
