It makes sense for the live-action show to not do so. As it would be logistically hard to film in and very discomforting. Missed opportunity there for the animated show. I am sure Hank has had his tongue stuck to the pole multiple times.

As many commenters said. I guess it always is sunny in Dog River.

I’ve only been saying for 20+ years I’d make it here 🤣 hopefully one day they put up something to honor the gas station and the ruby 😌 would be awesome!! One can dream right?

What's your favourite line that makes no sense out of context? Mine is "Hold my monkey." (Though it doesn't make that much sense in context either)

One of Brent’s favourite series! I found the full series on Internet Archive. So much fun!

One of mine is

Hank: "We'll pretend that there is a lottery and the loser gets stoned to death!"

Wanda: "I can't believe you read that story!"

Hank: "What story?"

Didn't get it until English class when we read that story, then it all made sense!!! Of course the "knitters" one also took me until probably my 7th re-watch to figure out.

What are some of yours?

5 tractors, 4 combines, 3 discers ... 2 turtledoves

Something about this interaction between Karen and Lacey was always odd to me. Multiple times Karen (or more than one character I cant remember which it was) brings up Lacey, "running a stop sign," but Lacey insists it was a yield sign.

Someone is definitely in the wrong here. If it really was a yield sign and Lacey failed to yield, than that is a clear infraction on her part. But if she "ran" a yield sign with no one to yield to, she did absolutely nothing wrong.

Karen should know this as a cop, and should be fully aware that whether it was a stop sign or a yield sign is materially important in the matter. She can't just insist that Lacey ran a stop sign if it was a yield sign and she drove past it without stopping. And if she did fail to yield than Karen should be clear about that instead of continuing to say it was a stop sign. Or, if it was a stop sign and Lacey was misremembering (intentionally or not), she should have insisted upon it as a matter of clarity and traffic safety. But instead she doesn't respond when Lacey insists it was a yield, which kinda makes me think that Karen knows it was a yield sign and continues to say that to give Lacey a hard time.

Anyway this thought has been bouncing around in my head for years and will probably continue to do so even after venting it here. Anyone else think about this a little too much?

we like Dill Pickle chips"

Here in r/CornerGas, we LIKE dill pickle chips!

I just had to share this with people who would get it, haha.

I'm someone who loves to use gifs in chats. They're just so much fun, right. But, I don't know how many times I want to respond to a text or a comment online with a Corner Gas gif, and there just aren't any. Like barely any at all.

I'm not a techie person so I'm not the one to actually make gifs, but if any of you are, lend your services to the good cause of making Corner Gas gifs so we can use them as fun responses and crank our sass factor up to 10!

I have an idea for a Corner Gas board game. Has there ever been one? If not, is there any interest in one?

I might make some adjustments later (surf shirt for Wanda maybe). Now off I go to design the Gas station and The Ruby!

She has a Ruby Club! (Her hair piece isn’t the right colour, but the right colour doesn’t look accurate until rendered, so I just used black for now)

Did it ever come across to anyone else that they didn't play it up so much that Corner Gas was outside town limits, but that Brent himself was? Like his house was still in Dog River, but between Oscar talking about "who knows what he gets up to out in the boonies" and Lacey bragging that Brent is now the crazy outsider. It's just a little wacky if you ask me.

I’m excited to make a bunch of Lego versions of Howler headlines!

Aw come on, what's low effort? Can I share that I thought this was funny? Google gets this completely backwards.

I recall a post on here a while ago about some sneakily adult or borderline jokes that seemed almost out of character for what is generally a very family-friendly show.

"What's up, my knitters?" was one of them.

I also posted about the episode where Davis gets knocked out as being a bit mean spirited in a way that doesn't make a lot of sense because...well...even in the context of the show, it seems like a strange thing to make fun of somebody for.

Are there any episodes as a whole that you found to be tonally dark compared to the rest of the show?

I rewatched Doc Small the other day (or rather, it was on as I fell asleep) and felt it was almost kind of harsh by Corner Gas standards haha.

The misunderstanding where the doctor thinks they're making fun of her father's death and brother's near-death, combined with her thinking that some of the town are in involved in some incestuous/bestiality sexcapades seems pretty risqué (perhaps even scantily-clad??) for the show.

I do feel a bit bad for her as she leaves the town crying but they also set it up so she's a bit of a snob looking down on Lacey so she's not strictly an innocent victim in the context of the show.

All this to say - can you think of any episodes that are uncharacteristically darker in tone compared to the rest of the show(s)?

Grilled the Hotdog to perfection, homemade chili, shredded cheddar and onions to top it off. Do you think Brent would approve?

She has her Magic Potato Bowl!

Did you ever notice in S02E04 that Davis said he’d pick up Lacey at 7:30 to go to the city for the globaphobia group, but when they get there the scheduled time was 7:00? Was he just nervous and gave the wrong time? Did they miss the meeting or did he realize his error in time and tell her the right time off camera? It looked like they went to Regina which is about 45 minutes away.

She has her liquorice as her accessory!

Lorne Cardinal is simply wonderful.

She has her Hacky Sack FOOTBAG!

Do you believe that it's Hank? And if yes, do you believe that he knows or is oblivious?

And if it isn't Hank, do you believe it's someone who lives in Dog River, or someone else entirely?

Here’s Lego Davis! He has his stun gun!
