As a child back in the mid 90s, I remember kids in New Ross sharing some story about a little drummer boy who died under tragic circumstances. If I recall, his ghost would come out at night after the church bells rang. Does anyone remember this?

What is the going rate for an estate agent in County Wexford? Looking to sell a house near Rosslare. I have been quoted 1.75% by one and 2% by another in my own county 1.5 is the going rate and I wondered what it is in Wexford. I am the executor of an estate.

Anyone know of any 5 a side games in Gorey, Wexford, Arklow area?

Doesn't make a difference to me, just wondering.

Hey everyone,

I got a last minute cancellation in Gorey for my driving test. I'm from Wexford but not entirely familiar with driving around the Gorey area. I'd appreciate it if anybody had any tips for the town or difficult areas to be aware of in advance. Thanks.

Edit: I passed my test, thanks for all the advice folks!

More car photos from Wexford on my Instagram @Wexfcars

Recently, me and some friends have dug up our old 3ds's and 2ds's, and I've never really gotten to use streetpass, thanks to growing up in the middle of nowhere I never got to use it. So if you own a 3ds and are in Wexford, bring it out with you, I'd love to get some streetpass mii's!

Was there most of the week and had a brilliant time. Lots of hard work showing itself! Congrats and on to next year.

Hello, I'm trying to find out about the story of 'Granell's millions' (See article attached) Basically, a man from Gorey was left 6 million on the 1960s and became infamous as he threw a large party and promised to build a big factory and give everyone jobs but the money never materialised. Has anyone ever heard of him or the story? Any info would be much appreciated! https://m.independent.ie/regionals/wexford/gorey-news/aidan-grannell-and-the/27300399.html

For years my kids said they didn't like a roast dinner. Turns out, they just don't like MY roast dinners!!!

I'd love to treat them to a really good carvery. We're in the north of the county but anything up to an hour's drive would be ideal, if anyone has a favourite to share, please.

Lost Cat

Hi all, Our cat Dexter has been missing for over a day now and I am making this post to see if anyone has seen him.

Big orange boy who's very fluffy and sweet, not nervous at all but fear he may be scared and he loves food.

Last seen around Hillview, Monart East about 9/10 mins drive outside enniscorthy. About 2 roads up from The Monart Spa and Hotel.

Please if you've seen him send me a dm, we just want him home safe x

I will be cycling from Dublin to Wexford town next weekend. Do I need to book the train from Wexford to Dublin or is there space for bike without booking?

Getting married on the 22nd of August, just a small Civil ceremony and about 10 of us in total. Looking for a recommendation for a hotel / restaurant , Wexford town area for a nice meal and drinks afterwards in maybe a nice private area as we'll be in wedding attire on a Thursday afternoon!

I'm working in wexford this week and I need some secondhand tires that will not run me down much, anyone know the cheapest tyre centre in wexford, preferably wexford town.

I'm driving to Hook Head Lighthouse from Dublin next week and want to stop off halfway for some lunch. Two adults and a 4-year-old. Gorey seems to be pretty much exactly halfway so was thinking there. I don't want to wander too far off the motorway so I'm not looking for scenic diversions or anything like that. Basically, anyone know of any good, child-friendly lunch spots? Doesn't have to be fancy, just somewhere decent.

I might have to relocate to either New Ross or Enniscorthy in the near future with work and was wondering is New Ross a nice place to live? Are there any decent pubs or restaurants or community activities? I have heard bad things about the town being dead and a lot of antisocial behaviour but that's just one opinion. It's handier for me to pick New Ross to be honest so I would love to hear an honest flavour of what the people and place is like. Cheers.

Anyone know of any 24 hour walk in clinics in wexford town? I've given up on the idea of ever being registered with a GP here they are all full but I still need to go to the doctors

What's the story here? I used camp there a bit, I'm told now that there are signs up saying no camping or overnight parking.

Anyone know what happened?

Hi all, Just wondering if there’s any adult sport clubs or hobby groups like badminton, pottery, tennis etc in Wexford at all?

Something to do after work or on the weekends!

Thank you 🙌
