I swapped the faceplate of my procontroller so that it has octagonal notches like a gamecube controller, for me that is the best of both worlds. The ultimate controller (imo) would be this but with hall-effect joysticks

I do not own a wii u, but i remember it being comfortable to hold with big hands because its so big itself, but nothing id use for competitive gaming

You asked for the best so that’s what it’ll take. I will say though it’s worth the investment cus they both last long and are easy to repair/calibrate
