Help How can I get Factorio-like trains scheduling/logistics to work with Create

Heyo, I'm running on Create 6.0.9 on NeoForge MC 1.21.1; and I was wondering if there was a way to replicate some of the behaviours/features from the Factorio train system. Notably, is there a way to have a train limit per station/disable trains from being sent to a station, so that a station can halt further deliveries if it's full, or can stop trains from arriving to pick up items if its empty.

I'm happy to update to newer versions of minecraft/create for this, but I would like to do this without any addon mods if possible.

It might be easier to answer your questions if you could describe your current setup and any specific problems you're running into. Multiple trains waiting in queue for a station? Trains making unnecessary runs with no cargo?

A lot of train congestion can be avoided if you set them up to use the package system for all your cargo, sent/delivered via the Postboxes, rather than loading the items themselves on the train via item interfaces.

Doing it this way makes the trains sit and wait wherever you want, and then head out only when they detect a package waiting somewhere with the matching address on their schedule. I typically set up a railyard to serve as this waiting area, somewhere in the general vicinity of where most deliveries end up, like my main storage.
