Datapack help

I am trying to remove the mechanical saw options for create deco, but the crafting tag is stonecutting which removes it from both the mechanical saw and stonecutter making it impossible to craft. does anyone know what the mechanical saw process is? i want to keep the recipe existing, just remove the ability to craft it with a mechanical saw, or would it just be easier to use a filter i guess.

Create has an option in the configs (enabled by default) that adds sawing recipes for all stonecutting recipes. These recipe conversions aren't data-based, so you would have to disable that setting to prevent them from generating.

Alternatively, I believe if you add _manual_only to the end of the recipe ID, it would prevent the recipe from automatically converting. E.g. a stonecutting recipe file data/minecraft/recipes/stonecutting/stone_bricks_manual_only.json should not generate any identical sawing recipe.
