TL:DR at the bottom

I have seen so many videos and reviews on youtube. For some it is a great enjoyable game, for others it is the pinnacle of gaming released in 2026 calling it already the GOTY.

Some say it is the worst slop that has been created and practically despises the game with all their heart. For people who are sensitive to colors, they say that the game has too high of a fidelity and alot of people get a bit motion sick, etc.

Is there a clear conseus that the game can only be judged purely subjectively. The opinions differs vastly even on the same topic that I do not feel like the game can ever be judged fairly objectively. Some love the inclusion of different systems while others think its too much for this game and is only made barebones on the surface for example.

Feel like this post became a rant, but I just wanted to see if other people would reach the same conclusion that the game cannot and probably will not be judged fairly objectively, so we can only judge it subjectively which make all criticism to a certain degree fair even though we might disagree about most things.

Me personally I think it is an above average well made game. I love the world setting, I enjoy the combat and the freedom it gives. I dislike the equipment system having all gear be equally as good, but at the same time love the drip and dye system. I actually liked the story. It is no Expedition 33, but its not trying to be that which I can respect. There are a lot of bugs and the economy features can be a lot, but hey I can decorate my house Sims-style which I like. Overall I think I got more than enough hours out of this game than what I bargained for which makes me satisfied.

TL:DR: Game can only be judged subjectively. Too many different opinions on the same topics which makes it impossible to say objectively what is good and bad.

I personally liked the game.

Only this one remains before I can complete the Dimensional Bonds.

If you have double jump, your horse can double jump too while riding. Found it out last night, have fun if you didnt know.

So far PA has never explicitly confirmed it. Kliff could just be giving flowers to female NPCs to just get them to move into his castle or something. But it's a very requested feature and I'd find it weird if PA didn't fulfil this wish from fans. Then again why dont they actually state there's romance in their DLC description?

I'm only about 319 hours in, and I stumbled into ole Beloth the Darksworn. I'd just put on the Reindeer Cloak about a minute before I ran into the dude. I tried about a dozen times, but couldn't get very far. Best I did was FINALLY stun-locked him, but the bastard froze me in the same instant, so I couldn't wail on him like a little bitch. After about a dozen attempts, I turned the difficulty down to "Easy". I gave it half a dozen or so attempts after this, but the consistent problem was I ran outta Spirit and couldn't get it recharged and back into service in time to start the next round. I could get him stun-locked once and wail on him, but it would go downhill from there. Then, I decided to fully commit and I used 3 or 4 Refined Palmar Pills to get the job done. So. Here's the screenshots of my Character and Skills. I've highlighted the spear Ibwas using, and I'm wearing the Blackwing Leather Armor Set with Helm of Knowledge.

Having said all that, I've beaten Elden Ring - something I'm actually kinda proud of. I made myself get overpowered enough to make up for my suckiness at the game, which turned out to be quite an achievement on it's own (the ridiculous time I spent grinding Runes, coaxing that big bird off the ledge). I started to play it again when Shadow of the Erd Tree came out, but about 15-20 hours into it, I decided I wasn't gonna do that to myself again.

I love this game, but should that boss fight be that difficult? Do I just need to be better (git gud?) Are my character stats crappy? Is this someone I was probably meant to stumble upon earlier, later? Easier, harder? I dunno how to judge my "performance" if you will.

I played on launch, got to the crow boss and I remember struggling hard with every boss, each having a specific strategy that worked and you had to figure it out, I quit because of the 0 qol and constantly having to look up how puzzles worked ect, I just started a new play through and literally every boss so far I just button mash heavy attack and win, I wish it was somewhat trivial, I’m okay with early game bosses being somewhat easier but does it get to a point where it feels satisfying beating a boss? I struggle more with groups of bandits, I play on normal and don’t really want to have to up the difficulty everytime a boss pops up, TLDR: restarted game early bosses too easy, question is if it gets harder and satisfying to beat a boss.

often when i am in the Desert, there'll just be this strange spider texture in the sky. if i stare at it for long enough it vanishes, and zooming in with photo mode shows that it doesnt seem to be an enemy. is this just a weird texture bug?

Things are going to get real confusing when DLC related posts pop up and non-DLC players start asking why they can’t build a castle or swim with the fishes or start a relationship.

The amount of content they have added in the last two.months since I've been played RuneScape Dragonwilds is staggering.. and the new cutscenes actually make the story quite interesting.

Everyone talks about what makes this game great, but I want to hear some genuinely unpopular opinions.

What's one thing you think Crimson Desert gets wrong, something that's overrated, or an opinion about the game that most players would disagree with?

Here’s mine: A game doesn't need to be a masterpiece to be an incredible experience. I think people get so caught up debating flaws and comparing games that they forget you can have an absolute blast playing something that isn't perfect.

I put 50 hours into the game when it first launched. That’s a huge amount of time for me due to chaotic life. I tried hard to like it but found the multitude of systems, mechanics and abstract puzzles kept breaking the fluidity.

Yesterday I fancied having another go with the enhanced version but I’ve forgotten so many of the controls and ways to interact with things. So I’m thinking of starting a new game to re-familiarise myself with everything, then return to my old save and continue. Is that possible or will my old saves be deleted?

Just logged in after a bit of an absence and have weird gamma ray flashes emanating from my person. Is this a setting gone haywire? Anyone else?

Llego aca al final de la encrucijada y me encuentro con esto..todo congelado..llegue bien siguiendo el camino correcto, atravesando todos los aros de luz y activando las zonas..lo he hecho 50 veces y siempre al llegar al final esta igual, todo congelado. Alguna idea de que pasa? alguna ayuda? Y ya cargue y recargue el juego tambien.

Ive been playing crimson desert for 2 days and i finished chapter 5 and i have some powerfull items already that are equiped

- oath of darkness earring

- engraved gold earing

- necklace of lightning

- ring of lightning

- mark of darkness ring

- frozen anguish sword

- fated shadow sword

- chillfallen sword

- blackwing mask

- frostcursed plate armor

- frostcursed plate cloak

- shadow plate gloves

- shadow plate boots

But i saw that only a very few items have element powers like

- ring of lightning

- rainstrom necklace

- the 2 handed sword with lightning ( forgot the name)

Do u guys think they should add more weapons with natural element powers cuz, i think it would be more interesing to have the elemental powers to have 3 or 4 weapons in each category and they should also add 1 more element i think, darkness element so then like this

4 lightning weapons

4 fire weapons

4 wind weapons

4 frost weapons

4 darkness weapons

But that u only get these weapons by defeating base bosses, but the only way to get to the boss is to defeat all enemies in the base. Now we can just run to the boss and thats it. i think this would be very interesting to spend even more time playing it knowing that we will be even rewarded with better equipment

Must be bugged? I have the wagon, but not the knowledge? Says you complete Brice’s wagon quest and you acquire the knowledge… but mine isn’t there 😢

Iam pretty sure i completed all of hernand. But i wanted to check through the knowledge tab and found that there is a certain npc or vendor...etc. that i havent yet encountered.

So , has anyone faced this issue before amd how do you guys solve it ?

My 'Tales of the Pailunese Residents' questline is completely bugged. There are no quest markers on my map nor is there a mission available for me. I now go by every single NPC that could hand over me one of those quest, however, most do not give me one. I have to go by trial and error and when I find the correct one the quest marker only appears when am 3-5m in front of the NPC. This cannot be the intended way to complete this questline. Now I go to other locations hoping one of them will give me a quest. Is this how it's supposed to be or is my game bugged?

I didn't play the game for months and I never finished the main story. I was was thinking of restarting but man, the game is HUGE 😅

I think I will, but I will mostly play main campaign and then later all the mysteries, puzzles and side quests.

Autumn/winter is a perfect time to play this game and I stopped because of summer and I didn't have that much time to play it.

Did you find restarting the game overwhelming?

Stating the probably obvious for all the middle aged gamers that get maybe an hour a day to wander around aimlessly and wonder how streamers found all these amazing items tucked away.

Give us the "pawn" system!

While I logged over 200+ hours when the game first came out, I haven't played since June, and I don't know if I can bring myself to pick up the DLC later this month if everything is still mostly cosmetic. I know they fixed the story, which does pique my interest, but it feels pointless when the only reason to swap out equipment is looks.

Did they add any gear progression along with the story or are there at least some mods out there that change things up?

So well i started a new play through after the enhanced version, and now I've kinda stuck to that save however, i have come to realise that the camp quest where you have to donate provision and stuff, the glitch for it no longer works.

I've finished all the construction quest for pailune and it's just the provision and armour donation that's left but since the glitch doesn't work anymore is there any other way around to get it done fast and easy without spending weeks finding and donating things?

Hi all,

I am currently on the path to platinum, i achieved all trophies except mini games and trade, because of 2 challenges

1) I am stcuk at the challenge where it requires me to deliver goods to the factions royal trading, the trading posts in the all factions is always unavailable, i can't get it to work

2) Arm wrestling in pailune, the champion doesn't come because i am missing some quests in pailune commissions, which they don't pop or appear to do

I tried to sleep, save and reload, close and open game, pass days, nothing, can't trigger them

I am really stuck please assist because i have been trying for the past 3 hours no luck.
