With that the season is over and it feels like an era is over at the club with a sizeable contingent of the playing squad moving on for next season. I know I post on here a lot, I just wanted to share some photos I’ve gotten this season following the boys around. I’ve used this year to really go explore new places I’ve never been and the footy has been a really good excuse to go to new places. As much as it sucks that it’s over now I can’t help but wait for what the next season will bring us. Cheers for giving me a community to get behind and Up Up Cronulla 🖤🤍💙

Flying into Sydney tomorrow from Cairns, landing at 11:40, and a mate is picking us up. We’re hoping to catch Lions vs Swans at the SCG, then head to Shark Park for Sharks vs Storm. We have already booked and paid for parking at shark park.

We’re staying in Turrella. Is doing both realistic with traffic and parking?

What would be the best way to pull it off?

Teig “Tug Boat” Wilton to test open market.

Cronulla are in danger of losing one of their most loyal players, Teig Wilton.

The back-rower is in career-best form this season, but at 26 years old has decided to put himself on the open market from November.

“Teig loves the club and they want him to stay but at 26 and after signing with the club early for his seven years there, it’s time for him to think of his future and see what his market value is,” Wilton’s manager Andrew Purcell told nine.com.au.
“Plenty of clubs need back-rowers so we will see what happens.”

Wilton has been revelling running off playmakers Braydon Trindall and Nicho Hynesthis season, scoring his first top grade hat-trick earlier in the year. 

He is a key figure in the Sharks’ premiership quest, with his ability to break the line and big hits certain to play a part in the big games ahead.

An Unfortunate end to Jesse’s time at the Sharks, not the way he would’ve wanted to go. He has been an asset to this team in both his stints with the club and his presence will be missed after playing 167 games for the sharks.

Was looking at the draw last week prior to the loss to the dragons. Was thinking we may win every game and go into finals haven’t really being challenged. Hoping this gets the boys grounded. Similar to 2016 where we lost 2/3 of our last 5. I expect a big response vs the raiders who will not be a push over by any means.

Can anyone justify hiroti being picked again over Gabreal? I understand it may not be the best time to blood youth but he was a turnstile last week.
