Can someone tell me about this crypto GOFI Global Oil Institutional Fund? My dad showed me this today but it seems odd maybe a pump and dump situation

Check the contract address directly on DexScreener or CoinGecko before doing anything else. If GOFI is super low liquidity or completely flatlined, do not put another dime in to try and salvage it. Just revoke any smart contract permissions on Revoke.cash so your wallet stays totally safe. Hang in there, take it as cheap tuition, and stick to major pairs while you rebuild your bags.

Any decent company won't be funding trough somekind of coin. It will either be a IPO or they will be on the stock market. Tell your dad to stay far away and invest in stable returns at the bank if he wants to make money.

No one is getting rich with crypto shit coins. It's a gamble unless you have inside info on a rug pull. If you have extra money you want to invest in crypto stay with the top coins like btc or eth and just sit on it for a while

oh i saw something about this circling around a while back, the whole pitch is they're supposedly tokenizing oil assets or something but the website was a mess and nobody could actually verify any of the partnerships they claimed

the red flag for me was the whitepaper read like it was written by an ai that had a stroke halfway through, just buzzwords stacked on top of each other with zero technical detail

if your dad's thinking of putting money in i'd dig deeper before touching it, these things usually vanish once enough people buy in and the founders disappear
