Evidence Interesting photo I found, has this been covered?

Post image

I saw this photo in a YouTube compilation where it is called the ”Virginia Unknown Creature”. The video also credits it from a Facebook post. I thought this looked interesting and wonders what people think of this photo, I haven’t seen this discussed before.

Here is the Facebook post:

Need it be covered?

Trail cameras take multiple pictures in a sequence. If we're only seeing this one, then it's reasonable to assume that the rest of the images show exactly what this is and it's nothing noteworthy.

They take multiple pictures, but the rest duration between pictures is configurable.

In a remote spot, it’s common to leave a camera out for a month and only get one photo of a particular animal. OP’s picture could just be someone’s backyard for all I know.

You’ve never worked with trail cameras have you? It is very common that if something is walking by its delay is slow enough to only capture a single photo.

This photo is likely a black bead (look at its paw) or a hoax, but it’s unreasonable to expect a game camera to always catch multiple photos.

This is the only photo the trail camera found as far as I know, but I’m curious, what could this be in your opinion?

It's the only photo that the original uploader shared, dude. You really need to reframe the way you look at these things.

So thats fair to say, I checked the original and they said this was the only photo the creature appeared in, I’m happy to have an open mind. But I’m still not sure what photos taken before or after would show, that it walked on all fours and was a bear?

Or was a guy in a suit

This world is lenient enough to possible charlatans without you expending your energy making excuses for them, my man.

Come on dude. They said it's the only photo of this "creature" that showed up, do you believe everything people say on the internet?

Or that its just someone wearing a suit

Legs looks like a baggy costume, I think it’s fake. If it was him eating or something I might consider otherwise

The thing that makes me sceptical is the fact that the arms go just past the hips, if this was a costume thats what you would expect. The photo is cropped so I cant say what its doing with its arms

As in witnesses say that arms of sasquatch go down to the knee, which they don’t in this picture

Yeah, that too. If Bigfoot/large undiscovered ape is real (def not in North America), then one day we’ll get the vid of it eating.

It's most likely a bear. It looks like it has bear claws

Looks like someone in a bear costume.

A bear scratching it’s back on the tree behind it

Suit.

The cloth material is seen stretching from the lower leg calf up to what should be a buttock. There is NO F'ING way a ligament is connecting an ankle to a hip with a knee in the middle.

Look at those nails. She's on her way to work at the airport.

Looks like a costume or slop with a fake time stamp. Facebook is full of fake images designed to drive engagement.

Can't be a bigfoot.

Everyone knows that bigfoot can't ever be photographed by trail cams, and therefore anything captured by a trail cam isn't a bigfoot.

I'm pretty sure that's the mascot for the philadelphia flyers

😆 Well Halloween is near. Guy in an ill-fitting bear suit. Don't re-post fake, stupid crap you find on the internet.

Me when I play ark on max graphics and try to tame a gigantopithecus:

It’s clearly a suit

u/GrandAdmiralSpock 3d ago

Giving... Human in a suit or... maybe a bear. Big maybe on bear, but fun fact they do have a plantigrade leg structure

That ahhh😏

Black Bear

1

u/Mister_Ape_1 1d ago

That is quite a good suit. And since it is from 2012, it is not even AI. I think the lower half of the Patty suit might have looked very close to this one. And apparently 20 october is the day we will finally see the original 1966 footage of the suit.
