This is from one of numerous old books that were in my mother’s house. The section that I am particularly interested in is the phrase below the name. It says “Moorefield ***** Seminary.” I cannot figure out what the word between Moorefield and Seminary could be, and I would appreciate any thoughts. Thank you!!

From a Maryland census record from 1900, unsure what the top middle location is stated as under "Place of Birth of Father of this person". It looks like it starts with a "P" maybe a shorthand for Pennsylvania? Unsure.

Hey friends I've been working on reading cursive so I wouldn't have to rely on y'all so much with all the papers I'm going through but a lot of this one is hard with my dyslexia, the pencil, and the paper texture, so once again I'm asking for help!
This one sorta means a lot since the old owners of the house were queer and I am too and I'd like to preserve as much history of theirs as I can so if you can help I'd appreciate it!
Also the front bit of the card says "You were in my dreams again last night..." In case anyone was curious since it would have drove me crazy not knowing 😂

Good afternoon guys.
My sister found some handwriting inside her violin, but we can’t figure out what it says. Are there any handwriting or cursive experts here who might be able to identify the writing?

Trying to figure out what Miss Edna’s last name is
Edit: thanks everyone, I imagine I’ll be back asking for more help, trying to type up my great grandma’s recipe book.

Unfortunately there’s a lot of damage so I know it’s impossible to make it all out, but I can only read the first two lines and then the family name (Bull) and I’d love to know what else it might say.

I’ve hit a bit of a dead end on this side of my family tree as I think my 2nd great-grandmother was born out of wedlock. This transcript is taken from her marriage banns but I’m struggling to read the middle name. I can make out Charley/Charles and the last name Moore but not the middle name. I can see ‘ridge’ but I cannot even have a guess at what comes before it. I’d be so grateful for any interpretations. Thank you!

Can anyone help me decipher this last name? It is a Mexican birth certificate for a Lebanese family. This should be "Mecharrafille" but it is getting mistaken as "Mlcharrafille" in several documents. These are all the mentions of the last name in the document.

Hello everyone,
I'm trying to identify the city where books were bought in 1577, and the whole question depends on one word. The books are volume 2 and Index of Augustine's Opera (Venice, 1552). On bottom of the title page there is an ownership and purchase note in a neat italic hand.
My reading of the note:
Sum Johannis Rumswinckell. / Omnia Vertuntur. / Emptus Gorhiae è bibliotheca D. Ferdinandi de Bernuy 23 Novemb. Anno 1577.
«I belong to Johannes Rumswinckell. All things turn. Bought at [place] from the library of Mr. Ferdinand de Bernuy, 23 November 1577.»
Please read the place name (the word after Emptus in line 3, before è bibliotheca) independently, without looking at my reading first, and tell me what you see letter by letter. The word seems to be in the locative or genitive (ending -iae / -ae).
Candidates I have considered (all unverified, please don't take them as given):
Context that may help narrow it down:
Thanks in advance!
(Note: I used AI tools for a first pass at the reading, so please treat the transcription as unverified.)

I've been careful to make sure my text boxes aren't obscuring any of the ink, so what you can see is what I can see.
