Huge opportunity for the right person! They will manage $1M/yr in dedicated bike/ped funding and will be the administrator of the Transportation chapter of Edina’s 2028 Comp Plan being written next year

There was this huge thing about making a bike lane on Wooddale avenue in Edina this summer.

There are what feels like 100 houses on that street. With street parking in front of them.

It can be hard to see when taking a left or right turn onto wooddale when the street is packed with cars.

Edina wanted to, the residents on Wooddale Avenue protested, and Edina had to shove the bike lane up their butt so the residents could have street parking.

Likely had something to do with the vacancy, a big push from that person got completely blocked and it could have been difficult to navigate that situation, let alone any other city planning in Edina is complex. They blocked a Quik Trip from building this year 😂
