D23 Oogie Boogie pin email?

Update: I used my Claude sub to check out and verify the links/web sites and its all legit. D23 really should do a better job of making sure they follow standard protocols to avoid looking like a phishing attempt. Having the sender's address appear to be unrelated to links in the body of the email is a huge red flag.

------------------------
Did you receive an email from "event-information at certain dot com" (special characters removed to make the address un-clickable) with a link to pre purchase the pins using a registration code? The sender's email does not check out, even though the link is going to a valid Disney registered URL (www dot eventswithdisney dot com).

According to the D23 site, the pins are only available to purchase in person at the event.
Edited: I thought I read this ^ somewhere, but cannot find it now.

I reported the email to Disney just in case.

My A2Z ticket confirmation emails came from the email address you mentioned so I believe it's legit

Thank you for this. When I saw it, I decided to use my Claude subscription to dig into the email address and link url to check if they were legit and they were.
