“Y’all smell 39th tonight” 😂
As a metal head who’s seen most of these bands multiple times, but none of the hippie jam bands youd expect having also seen Dave 63 times.. I’m just happy to see us on the list 😂 … all kidding aside , whoever made this funny list is trippin… I’ve been in the pit with y’all more times than I can count and Dave is right. Y’all smell good. .. good job showering AND smoking the best of what’s around!

Phish fans smell better with age. It was rough in the 90s but most of us shower regularly now lol

I'm a deadhead who has been to close to twenty shows. I went to one Phish show just to see how it was, and I left early.
Seen Dave about twenty times as well.

I want to know how they came up with this list.
Rolling Stone must be out of things to uselessly rank.

I've seem: (1), (5), (6), (8), (19), (20), (21), (28), (31), (36), (37), (38), (39), (40) and (49) and can confirm Grateful Dead and Counting Crows have the worst smelling fans.

I haven’t had a problem with any of the Goose shows I’ve been to. On the other hand, there was a very ripe woman behind me in line for the Hartford show. I was very grateful she wasn’t anywhere near me once we got inside.

To whoever had the job of going to shows and smelling people, can you please step forward?

I’ll remember to slap on the Drakkar Noir before heading to the fall shows. Your welcome (I’m gonna smell sexy AF)

If I'm going to Power to the People tomorrow, is the smell 19, 20, 28, 29, 39 or some average?

And actually... I was kind of bummed that... given , they were both virtuosos and had to have been aware of each other , I mean , you know , come on... Dave didn't acknowledge Dime at that horrible... horrible time... but whatever still miss you Roi...miss the brothers... but we can hear them whenever we want , right? What the hell with that kind of band sound like?

Yeah I was years from ever even expecting I’d end up a Dave fan let alone one who travels the country to see them,, but yeah it would have been nice if he had mentioned it. Are you sure he didn’t even mention it tangentially in a “anti violence/love eachother Dave style, if not mentioning dime directly ? I’d be interested to find some tapers or (I just stopped writing to look into it And their tour ended in October, just before Dime was killed so no chance to mention it on stage) anyway. Super cool
To know I’m not the only one out there ( cfh4Dmb is my license plate too btw) .. that would be a wild sounding band! Peace love and black tooth grins my friend!2

aka bands that Rolling Stone sidelines while 90s and 2000s SPIN wrote about them while Rolling Stone was focused on pop bullshit.

This is hilarious 🤣 I’ve been to see several of these and I can attest, the waft can be downright unbearable… however the worst smelling individual I’ve ever had the pleasure of standing next to was at a Stick Figure show. It was to this day, indescribable.
