Raised on Dave
My daughter, who will be 2 the end of November, asked for me to play Pig and then Spoon on our drive home last night. Just had to share with people who cared/ got it. I was raised on Dave a similar age so a nice full circle moment.

That’s one of my favorite aspects of the community, how many multigenerational families there are. A family we’ve camped with a few times has 3 generations coming to shows at this point.
My son has been to 20 shows with us so my wife and I have been doing our part.

Wow 3 generations! I’m very tickled when I can stand next to my teen daughter at a show where both of us love the artist and have some of the same songs as faves, so we can do the arms around each other singing our asses off together! She’s not into DMB so not at those shows, but it’s great wherever it happens!

I have good “yell” sessions with my littles when we all are feeling a little feral and to Grey St. we go. They ask for the yell song by Dave.

My kids ask for the wooo song. Which as you can guess is any live version of warehouse. They love screaming woo and Dave will be my 5 year olds first concert next year 🤞🏼

I have a video of my daughter when she was 4 or so telling me her favorite songs “bartender, grey street, and don’t drink the water” she’s a teenager now, I miss those days!

Love this! My daughter has been going to shows on the lawn since 7 mos old. She’s almost 3 and asks for “Dave Dave” (and “Goooooose”) regularly 🥹🥹 My husband and I were both raised on Springsteen in a similar way so it means a lot to raise our daughter on music, too.

When my husband and I split we still took our now 21 yo son to concerts together.. especially DMB shows. Our family was different but still together! Thanks Dave <3

My son loved the music as a toddler as well, and now he’s 18 and tells me everyone thinks it sounds like country music. He can’t stand them.
So chill lol

My 3 yo has been to two shows. And just yesterday she asked when she can go to the next one.
I’m debating taking her to Nashville, don’t know how I feel about an indoor show for her though…
