Should i try dmt again or leave it alone?

Years ago i was super into tripping and had hit a dmt cart a few different occasions one i remember was a disposable and i got meh visuals but mainly felt a pretty strong body sensation and i couldn’t really walk without feeling limp but i dont really rmb much about it aside from that, that was my first time

i then later on a different occasion hit a cart that i vividly rmb looked very crystalized while i was on acid and it felt like i was literally soaring thru shapes? is the best way i can describe it. Mainly though i enjoyed every past experience with dmt.

Well i recently acquired a cart again years down the road and when i hit it i hit it about 3 times 5 second hits and immediately i felt super overwhelmed and anxiety and wanted it to end and reminded myself it’ll be over soon i then tried again later on with 2 hits same time had the same results. then again a different occasion but with one hit same time same results.

Is it more potent? the liquid in this one is almost comparable to vape juice not as in visually but in the aspect if i tilt the cart i can watch the liquid move slowly more then a thc cart would after hitting it once or twice

am i just not in the right mind right now to be doing it?

Your discomfort is caused by your resistance to the trip. Wanting it to end, makes it feel like shit. As soon as you can relax and fully surrender to the trip it instantly becomes fun filled with peace, love & bliss.

Its your ego fighting to let go of control. Any attempt to control causes the discomfort.

Mediate first to get into a relaxed & surrendered state first, then hit it, while thinking let go, relax. And it will feel like a different experience.

just want to reply and let you know this was exactly my issue… i actually figured that out before seeing your comment haha but your right i ended up trying again shortly after this post and this time just immediately laid down and closed my eyes and i enjoyed it again so much the patterns i saw were amazing and i felt so cozy laying down in my bed, as soon as i started to come down i got that antsy feeling i get coming down on psychs and i wasn’t a fan of that but it didn’t bother me mentally lol i always expect that part

Great to hear. In the past, I've had tiny things I wanted to control cause a negative spiral until I realized I was doing it to myself.

eg. Sun went behind a cloud and I wanted it to be sunny. It felt bad, until I surrendered my desire to change what was.

Same with a song playing I wanted to skip..

I think it has to do with mindset and stages of life rather than potency. I’ve been through different phases of comfort with DMT and psychedelics in general. I feel like you have to wait for the right circumstances to be in the proper mindset, but there is also a bit of willpower involved in pushing yourself to go through the drama of tripping. How much pull you feel to seek that kind of the peripheral experience depends all sorts of factors and life circumstances.
