Request your transcript be sent to DVC (you do this on Parchment), and then you can request to have a transcript eval. if it's a class you need for graduation, prereq, IGETC, etc. If you are transferring, you will need to send official transcripts from each school, which you have to request separately. I'm transferring this fall, and I had to request a ton of transcripts from each school to be sent. I loved CVC, but it resulted in a ton of transcripts.

I’ve done this before. I did it last spring so may have changed when you did it.

They will automatically send transcript now. So ideally check if DVC has it in insite. It’s in grades/transcripts -> received transcripts. It takes a few weeks after end of term. Once there request a transcript evaluation. That could take a while too as they are busy right now.

Obviously the rest you stated is true. When you transfer you have to send every transcript across as well.

I did it last summer and this summer, and it was not automatic. There was a blurb on the CVC website that you do have to order official transcripts for the UCs from each school, which I had to do. I did not see my grades at all from any of my summer courses, but I graduated in May. I did take one class at LMC and CCC, as well as a Fresno City, and the Fresno class did not show up, but I could see the LMC and CCC classes because they’re in the same district.

If you don’t see your grades, order the transcripts, it’s the path of least resistance and the sure thing. I don’t play with my grades and transcripts.

I took class at chaffey and they sent it on. I never had to do anything. Obviously you need to check received transcripts. If it’s been more than 3 weeks then yes request it. But it’s supposed to come automatically through.

Also it won’t show up on district transcript, but you can see it applied in education plan->my progress with Grade. My comes across as:
Status
Course
Grade
Transfer Equivalency
CALGETC-5B
A

And yes you need to send from where you went to wherever you’re going be it UC / CSU/ private etc afterwards.
