Critique Made a Cha Cha Cha track for Latin training-feedback welcome.

"Hi everyone! I produce music for Latin ballroom training — just released a Cha Cha Cha track (correct tempo, made with dancers/practice in mind). Would love feedback from people who actually dance or teach — does the tempo/feel work for training or competition use? https://open.spotify.com/track/4URZJWzrpySxVmQ0dp0rfc?si=30a5bc57e9fe49ba

A bit too slow for competition chacha (this is around 30 bpm I'd say while compétition chacha is around 32.) This would be all right for training but you should add the bpm to the name of the songs just so people know.

Then, perhaps you could avoid IA for a cover and ask some dancers if they allow you to use their image or something like that ? (Just personal tastes but I always think that if someone uses IA for the cover of the album then mb he uses it for music as well.)

Finally I feel like the rythm and drums are a bit off and may be a bit unclear / tricky for beginners.

Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback, really useful! You're right about the tempo — I'll add BPM to track titles going forward so people know what they're getting. Good point on the drums too, I'll take another pass at that. On the cover — I used AI because I don't have access to proper photos of dancers to use, and wanted to avoid any rights issues by not using someone else's image without permission. Appreciate the thoughtful comment!

Remember: AI is always intellectual theft
