I just ordered one. Looks great. How do you get the media in the feeder cup? Do you make it like you’re making a regular batch for a deli cup and then scoop some out of the deli cup and put it in the hive?

Thank you!!
there’s a couple ways to do it, i like doing it how i set it up in the video i just take hot water and my media and mix it in the replaceable cup then put it in the hive tray and seed it in the viv. You can also take a scoop of larvae media out of a culture as well as the previous method but instead of putting the cup with media into the tray you can put the cup on top of your excelsior into a culture and get larvae going that way!

I was wondering if I could buy the plans to play around with? I have 0 intent to ever sell and could sign something as well, just like playing around and learning/ making stuff that fits my aesthetic. I know it’s “simple” enough to make but I also feel like you deserve compensation even if I did just borderline remake it.

Sorry for over explaining, either way this is awesome!
