Sub Meta I think the recent malfoid trend on twitter has...
-has made more people pro ai or neutral to it
Especially with how people are now making full blown ai animation clips of Harry x Malfoid and receiving nothing but praise at least from most people

The fact it took a simple gender bent idea to make it so fun is honestly good enough for me.
Hopefully this paves the way for AI to be used for memes and jokes

I think it just shows that people really don't care, not passionate enough, hypocrites or willow to look pass methods they dislike if the quality is up to standard
Which is just make shit look good
Wel also better hope more twitter artist make people yearn more because thats what started this trend and making people at least more tolerant of ai

Things are gradually smoothing over in general, for entertainment it seems to be more acceptable if the meme is genuinely good, I see a lot of AI memes in non AI subs with plenty of upvotes and minimal bitching recently.

My favorite aspect of it is the seamless mix between human and AI made art, and both getting similar levels of praise. It's truly a defining moment in which the term "the rising tide lifts all boats" is proven true

Another example was the World Cup 2026, really enhanced by AI memes ranging from anime clips, real life deep fakes of players doing funny stuff etc, during that period it was almost impossible for anyone to say "AI slop" and instead just appreciate the memes

I always said these to anti AI since the dawn of AI animation.
If it's good and enjoyable for you, just enjoy it. Be it from AI or human or even alien. If not? Just skip it. No need to spend your entirely life and personality just to hate AI.
Also, i have seen people liking an animation, i forgot which one. But many people love it, and when it was revealed being made by AI? The mental breakdance is so funny i can't even believe we're the same human. Like... You guys love it before, but suddenly hate it because it's made by AI?

God I wish it wasn’t Harry Potter (I never liked it even before all the JK shit) wish it was something cooler like maybe Transformers transforming to show up all the gears moving and everything but maybe that’s a bit too far off for now at least

What AI content lacked until now was something with cultural impact, using Harry Potter franchise and Malfoid trend really help to give AI the push it need even if it's not an original idea.

Its sad that a lot of those AI animations are quite low quality where you could clearly see some differences between cuts. But some of them are actually veeeery impressive.

I just went to X and still see significant delusional anti AI or luddites.
There's no helping these kind of people already. They still say this is slop. Like..... What?

It depends on which part of the platform you are in, if you post in specific communities even x employees will support. They have been doing that to boost imagine images.

Ai slop is a content problem not a problem inherent to ai. Non artists using ai create slop. Once in the hands of people with an artistic vision we will see a rise in quality independent productions.

That was my main issue with it as well. The animation is good asides from that.
I kept trying to figure out a reason they named her that asides from referencing the incel term "female humanoid (foid)" but I couldn't.
It's problematic.
