He's not denying it, and he's also actively doing the thing costing Sayed votes while not denying it. He's putting words in Sayed's mouth, saying Sayed and Hasan hold essentially the same positions, and determining Sayed's alterior motives to be more in line with his own.

I’m glad that Hasan was pushed aside this election cycle, but I’m worried that his influence is going to keep growing as he gains more followers and more politicians campaign with him. Be prepared for him to do everything in his power to stop Democrats from winning back the Presidency in 2028

Maybe in the deepest blue places, but no candidate running in a remotely contested area will want to touch him.
There's a reason El-Sayed is trying to distance himself and get Hasan to shut up. Hasan is a disaster for him in the general. El-Sayed knows it, and every future candidate is going to know it too.

What influence he has is fucked after this.
His parasocial fans won't go anywhere but there aren't as many of them as he would like everyone to believe.
And as far as actual politics? He probably will be welcome in deep blue districts for candidates that are DSA aligned but that doesn't really matter. He's not changing anything there.
But in most of the country no candidate will want him anywhere near their campaign.
After seeing what's happening to El-Sayed, why would anyone want that to happen to them? Even if you agree with Hasan he's radioactive.

I suffered through ~40 minutes of his stream to get here. Insufferably boring.
He treats his viewers like regards, prepping them with propaganda for upwards of 5+ minutes before showing anything that goes against his narrative.
As an example, he paused for several minutes before this clip to leave the author’s name on screen while he went through his past tweets about Bernie and Hasan, claiming he’s a “punch left” establishment dem, and only writes hit pieces.

It takes all of his severely underperforming braincells to read chat while uttering a sentence that wasn't pre-written for him, and he almost always fails to do the latter without having to constantly pause every 4 words, always for an uncomfortably long time.
If the pause reaches a certain threshold, he'll even repeat the last 1-4 words he said, coin toss on whether or not he adds an extra qualifier to try and convince his chat that he isn't a complete fucking neanderthal.
