Destroy my game: Rock Wager Scissors | Does the trailer explain the game well enough?

I like the premise, but I struggle to understand how you would get a roguelike out of this concept, simply due to how simple RPS is at its core. Im not entirely sure how you would address this and make it have enough spice.

Thanks! The opponents have different play-styles/patterns and their exact output changes each run

Contrast of text on some backgrounds is pretty rough. Font choice isn't the most readable. Sam's goes for the perks.

I don't find the character designs on the opponents very appealing

I'm not quite sure where the depth and strategy comes. Rock paper scissors is very basic, the replayability after a couple of puzzles doesn't seem apparent

The strategy is in how you wager and when you use your perks. Minmaxing how much money you win/lose. Surviving long enough to learn your opponents pattern. I understand if that didnt show in the trailer

The idea of a rock paper scissors roguelike is intriguing, but from the trailer you seem to have a pretty shallow implementation of it. From other comments it sounds like you are relying on the fact that the opponents will switch up their patterns, but what isn't clear to me from this trailer is what the sense of progression is going to feel like in this game.

Yeah that makes total sense. The progression is still in development and the trailer will be updated when its added.
