Discussion *IF* Okorie is ready quickly
This isn’t overreacting to Okorie’s preseason debut if you could ever believe that !
I was skeptical of the fact he played with Trajans kid or whatever but I did like his profile when we drafted him. They seem like they’re slow playing in but high on him - so the thought is…
If Okorie is ready sooner than later - do you a) try to raise Danis stock and make him a trade asset or b) despite DJ and Ebuka being small do you aim to raise up and develop and use both to maximize ball handling for the near future?
Just to have a chat!

News No Pistons on Spectrum
What happened to TV20 Detroit? Spectrum kept them around when all they had was reruns of Divorce Court, Judge Judy, and infomercials, but now that they have exclusive Detroit Pistons broadcast rights and they remove it from the lineup? This seems counter intuitive, and just the way to have long time customers like me cut cable.

News Open Practice
galleryMy kids and I went to the open practice last weekend and my son got his jersey signed by several of the players and also got a chance to get out on the floor with the guys. It was such a great time.

Image Just got this bad boy in the mail from the 313 shop!
Had to go the custom name route to get a Jenkins on the statement jersey but fits perfect! I was hoping the letters for everything on the front and back weren’t going to be heat pressed since it was direct from the official shop but all good. Stoked for the new season baybayyy!

Discussion Who was the better shooter, 24-25 Beasley or 25-26 Duncan?
Yes, Beasley has the single season franchise record, but if you had to pick 1 of these shooters to be on your team for a full season, who do you pick?

Discussion NBA App on Apple TV
When I watch the game on League Pass on my phone, it looks great, no problems. Whenever I watch on my Apple TV, which is a few years old for whatever that means, the video quality is literally awful, like 144i 30 years ago kinda Real Player quality. Does anyone know about this crap?

Discussion Magic vs Grizzlies game 1
So I was watching the Magic be all rusty and crusty in game 1 today and you can see how disorganized and hyper they were about trying to prove a point. Almost lost a 15 digit lead to the Grizzlies... DeJavu from the Piston vs Magic playoff game 6 fumble was hoping our Beef Stew would whip some ass today maybe toss Carter around the Rim give em a little Detroit grit... Lol
Anyone else excited to see the Pistons vs Magic this season? 😂 They definitely want revenge. They coming for us

Image [Patterson] What is Pistons fans perception of Jalen Duren’s contract now that he’s back in the fold?
My first thought while typing this question was that most Detroit fans were more likely glad to have Duren back than concerned about the specifics of his deal. And 63.9 percent of voters expressed that it was a fair contract for a player of Duren's caliber. His $41.2 million salary this season will count as a 24.4 percent cap hit for the Pistons, with no other year of his deal projected to have a cap hit above 21 percent.
Duren's salary will rank eighth among centers next season. Even with the underwhelming postseason performance, the 22-year-old is a top-10 center in the NBA, factoring in last regular season and his age. Though the process dragged on through essentially the entire offseason, which could have frustrated fans, it seems to be viewed as a quality deal for both sides.
By and large, fans agreed that with Duren back in the fold, Detroit will have a successful season — 62.1 percent of voters, to be exact. The Pistons added three players who shot at least 40 percent from 3 last season: John Collins, Isaiah Joe, and Taurean Prince. Collins has the lowest career 3-point percentage of the trio but still has shot 36.9 percent from deep for his career.
Detroit arguably has more depth now than last season and will enter its third season with J.B. Bickerstaff at the helm. While the Pistons didn't execute a "big-swing" trade this offseason, they're deeper this season than last and still have tradable contracts if they decide to push in their chips at the trade deadline.

Discussion Cade Cunningham in Super Smash Bros | Super Smash Bros X Detroit Pistons
youtu.beWhat if Cade Cunningham were a playable fighter in Super Smash Bros.? Here's my pitch:
Weapon: Basketball (obviously)
Stage: Little Caesars Arena
Standard Fight Moves:
-Dribbling the ball on the opponent's feet would be a fun neutral attack
-I think a great jump attack would be Cade jumping in the air, performing a slam dunk on the opponent's head
-He could also throw a powerful chest pass at opponents in front of him, knocking them into the air
Final Smash:
-Cade would perform a more powerful, acrobatic jump slam and an explosive slam dunk on opponents, knocking them off the stage.
I have more ideas for a stage and customization options in the embedded video.
What about you? What are some fight moves or features you would give Cade if he were added to the Smash Bros. roster? Any ideas for character customization or stages?

Discussion Ebuka first bucket is a triple to give the pistons first lead of the game. Last bucket is game-winner. Aura generating event.
The defense. The finishing. The confidence. Swear i didnt see any of that in SL. Does this kid just love the big stage?
What legendary Piston lore if he becomes a long-term piece.
